How do you find Auckland being a melting pot?
"It's great! Cultural impacts from all over the world influence the mentalities, habits and attitudes of locals, other immigrants and tourists. In my opinion travelling and being abroad is the best education you can get. If you get a chance to do it, take it. Auckland - definitely a place to go!"

Brent, 21 from The Netherlands
Brent is doing a five-month internship and only joined the Marketing team two weeks ago. His assignment is to create 5 high quality promotional videos for the ACG Group targeting international students. At the moment he is busy with his first video for the ACG City Campus.

What do you think makes Auckland a unique place?
"Auckland is known as the City of Sails. Especially in the beginning of March when the Volvo Ocean Race arrives, Auckland is the place to be. I'm looking forward to it! Sailing is a great weekend activity and it's just one of the things I want to do here myself. Auckland is a beautiful city."

Jordan Jeffcoat, Year 13 student and Media Liaison Representative on the Student Council Executive Committee, recounts the Council's Relay for Life weekend.

From the 18th to the 19th of February, the Strathallan Senior Council took on the challenge of the Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life. The event was to be held at Mt Smart Stadium, and with the sun blazing in a cloudless sky it was sure to be a spectacular experience.

After the arduous task of assembling the ACG tent, "Toga Time" began. Council members composed togas of varying quality (and length) as other teams looked on, clearly impressed with our efforts. Our impeccable fashion sense did not go unnoticed, as we earned the "Best Dressed Team" award at the end of the event.
