Background

Rob Boston completed a 6 year building apprenticeship before working on several civil construction projects in the North East of England.


In 1974, Rob arrived in New Zealand where he worked in the construction industry before attending teacher training college in 1977.

Rob taught technical subjects at Kelston Boys High School before being appointed as Sports Co-ordinator at Auckland Grammar School.

In 1989 Rob became Executive Director of the Auckland Secondary Schools Heads Association, now known as College Sport. Rob joined ACG in October 2008 as Property Manager.

 

ACG Career

Rob is in charge of managing the property for all seven schools in New Zealand. During this time, one of his key roles has been in the change from leasing properties to ownership.

Rob has also had a strong influence in the planning, design and construction of the state of the art ACG Parnell College and ACG Strathallan campuses.
