Facilities
ACG International School Jakarta's new campus underway
A purpose built campus is being developed to provide new quality educational facilities with a clear focus on increasing the green space throughout the grounds.
The new buildings will include 24 new classrooms as well as 2 science laboratories, a technology centre, music and arts rooms and a large modern canteen complete with a multi-purpose sports centre and auditorium. A full-sized junior soccer field with a surrounding athletic track and a large covered multi-purpose court will provide students with a variety of sporting options and a large play space.
The developments are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012 with the main administration block and 9 new classrooms opening by February.
Chris Rawlins, Principal of ACG International School Jakarta, outlines the benefits of the new campus:
"Our students will soon have access to world class facilities with large modern classrooms and updated technology, while maximising the green space available – a special feature in Jakarta. ACG will continue to nurture its warm 'community' style atmosphere, and is pleased to be able to offer a significantly enhanced learning environment. We welcome new families to come and see how good school will be!"
