The experience was a very educationally enlightening one for me -not only were we informed about the importance of recycling and maintaining the environment in general, we also gained first-hand knowledge of how simple and effortless reforestation efforts could be.

Celebrating our Internationalism NZ board

At ACG School Jakarta we have continued celebrating our internationalism by displaying information on a noticeboard in the Canteen. Each week a team of volunteer Year 9 students create a display on a different country, this focus is usually because of a special day or event. For February it was New Zealand – Waitangi Day, Japan – National Foundation Day, Brunei – National Day and Kuwait – National Day.
