Quality in teaching and a proven curriculum to set our students up for success.

The ACG International School Jakarta Primary School provides a caring and safe environment for children to develop and grow through the PYP curriculum. We are fortunate to be able to offer individual attention to our students from internationally qualified teachers. The programme is based on the holistic development of the child from a social, cultural, emotional and physical perspective with a strong focus of literacy and numeracy. Students strive to develop all elements of the Learner Profile to assist them in achieving academic and social success within an inclusive defined curriculum.

Students are actively engaged in six Units of Inquiry throughout the year where they explore, research and investigate the Central Lines of each Inquiry. Students also participate in regular excursions to extend their learning experiences beyond the classroom and provide relevance and meaning to their investigations.

Technology is also fully integrated across the curriculum and students practice, develop and explore how to enhance their learning experiences by utilizing these various mediums.

It is an explicit expectation of our PYP that successful Inquiry Learning will lead our students to responsible 'Action'. The Year 3/4 Class with Ms Bianca have clearly demonstrated this with their Unit focussed on "Helping Others in Need".
