Timetable

Timetable

The timetable has 30 periods each of 80 minutes. Students typically attend 16 to 20 periods (21 to 27 hours) of teaching per week. Student timetables are structured to allow for breaks at different times of the day when students are not receiving tuition. A 30 minute break for all students is built into the middle of the day.

Period 1: 8:30 - 9:50
Period 2: 9:50 - 11:10
Period 3: 11:10 - 12:30
Period 4: 1:00 - 2:20
Period 5: 2:20 - 3:40
Period 6: 3:40 - 5:00

For the AUT University Certificate in Foundation Studies there are 16 to 20 periods per week with a combination of the following:

English 8 periods
Culture & Society or Tertiary Study Skills (TSS) 2 periods
Academic subjects 6 periods each

Each period is 80 minutes long.
