A group of ACG City Campus students met Mr. and Mrs. Hodges at Devonport ferry terminal on Saturday August, 25 for a guided tour of the area. The sun was shining as the group walked along the sea front to visit the Naval Museum at Torpedo Bay. After, they headed to North Head where they had an excellent view of Auckland City and the Gulf, and learned some interesting details about the tunnels, which honeycomb North Head. The group proceeded to Cheltenham Beach, where the students were introduced to some good old Kiwi 'summer' sport.

ACG City Campus students worked around-the-clock with students from other ACG Auckland schools to prepare for the ACG classical music 'fest' of 2012. Items performed by the ACG City Campus students ranged from the classical music of China to the more contemporary music of Pink Floyd, James Blunt and Crowded House. Students performed to a packed house at the Raye Freedman Arts Centre in Epsom on Saturday August 11th. The polished perfomances were a credit not only to the artists but also to the dedicated music teachers and backstage hands who worked in support to make this concert an evening of musical success and enjoyment.

Students in the University of Auckland Certificate of Foundation who have achieved the highest marks in the recent term 2 examinations are now placed in the Top 20 club.

On July 25th a dinner was held for scholarship students on The University of Auckland Medical School pathway. Students from Oman, Saudi Arabia and UAE were represented.

Enjoy an evening of music performed by talented students from Academic Colleges Group's Auckland schools. Students from the ACG City Campus, ACG Parnell College, ACG Senior College, ACG Strathallan and ACG Sunderland present a varied programme of music highlighting the ensembles and gifted young musicians attending these schools.
