Makauley Fox (Year 13) was recently interviewed by Murray Deaker about his full scholarship to Oregon State University, USA, beginning at the start of 2014. An audio recording of the interview is below:

Congratulations to Year 13 student, Makauley Fox, on being awarded a prestigious full scholarship to Oregon State University.

 

 

Mak is a rising star in New Zealand Baseball and he had caught the interest of many top Colleges in the USA before choosing to study and play baseball at Oregon State.

Parnell College Cycling Team

Cycling ClubOver the ANZAC day long weekend the Parnell College Cycling Team went to Rotorua for their annual camp.

We drove down to the camp on the Thursday and many students met up at the Skyline Gondola for the death-defying luge. Then we met up at the Marama Resort where we have stayed and based the camp every year.

AS DramaAS Drama students worked extremely hard in Term I to prepare an entertaining evening with great talent on display. Worth 30% of their CIE grade, the three groups had to perform for a minimum of 45 minutes each to a live audience on 8th and 9th May. This was examined and videoed for the Cambridge assessors.
