International Students
ACG Parnell welcomes students from Primary School (Years 1 to 6) to Middle and Senior School (Years 7 to 13).
Central location
ACG Parnell College opened in 1998 as one of the first dedicated middle schools in New Zealand. It has developed into a leading school that focuses on the needs of its students.
In 2007, an outstanding new purpose-built campus opened its doors to students from Years 1 to 13.
Conveniently located in the Parnell/Newmarket area, a short distance from the Auckland city centre, the School opens onto one of the city’s finest and largest parks, the Auckland Domain. The School makes full use of its excellent location with nearby facilities, such as the Parnell Tennis Club, Newmarket Olympic Pools and the War Memorial Museum.
Modern facilities
ACG Parnell College is housed in a new 10,000 square metre building with superb teaching spaces plus a wide range of specialist facilities, including a gymnasium, a large library, performance spaces for drama, dance, and music, sophisticated art, technology and computer rooms and a modern cafeteria. The ACG Parnell Primary School occupies an adjacent building with full use of the college building’s facilities.
Year 1 to Year 13
The School’s programmes are broad-based to ensure that each student develops diverse skills that will enable them to take a range of subjects at senior levels. English and Mathematics receive special emphasis at all Year levels. Students are also taught to use new technologies with confidence. The inclusion of a comprehensive Thinking Skills Programme across all subjects enables students to develop critical and creative minds and deeper understanding so that they are well prepared for further study.
All students are challenged to set goals for themselves and teachers work closely with each student to achieve success. Extension activities are in place in each curriculum area to challenge, accelerate and enrich able students.

ACG Parnell College has a set of core values to guide its students and staff:
