Selected to Represent Tennis NZ in Australia

Monday, 03 December 2012 09:48

tennisMany congratulations to Lana Popovich (9GEN) who reached the final at the Masters Tennis Tournament held in Blenheim.

The Masters Tournament brings together the top eight players in each age group based on criteria set by Tennis New Zealand. This result follows Lana's success at the Australian Optus 12's Nationals held in Sydney, where she was one of three girls to represent New Zealand. Lana won one of the draws by winning four out of six matches.

Based on her results this year, Lana was selected by Tennis NZ to represent New Zealand in the upcoming Australian Team Event and Nationals in Melbourne Park in December.

Rotary National Science and Technology Forum

Thursday, 01 November 2012 10:30

Ryan Beets (12OHN) has been selected to attend this Forum in Auckland next January – a great honour to be selected, well done Ryan! In addition Ryan has worked hard and earned $500 towards the cost of the Forum.

kbb-awards-parnellDr. Julie Garner, Head of the Faculty of Performing Arts at the College, is enormously proud of her students, and rightly so. But the accolade should be bestowed on Dr Garner herself whose love for music and determined attitude to perfection have inspired our students to perform together at this top level. Without a doubt, the presentation of the Peter Goddard Memorial Award is the absolute crowning glory and confirms the tenet of the Values for the school that we work together, with respect for everyone, to achieve excellence.
