All students are supported in setting academic goals for each subject, which are reviewed during each semester with tutors. The Middle School (Years 7 to 10) programmes prepare students for study at senior levels. All students in the Middle School study a similar course, which includes an emphasis on literacy and numeracy. ICT and Thinking Skills programmes are included in the Middle School. These courses are designed to support students in all subjects. Further information is available on the Years 7 to 10 page.

Our Primary School courses are based on a combination of New Zealand and United Kingdom approaches using both the New Zealand Curriculum Documents and the Cambridge International Primary Programme. There is a focus on developing a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Literacy and Numeracy, and each child is coached to develop academic and social goals, and to reflect on their progress. Students in Years 5 and 6 sit end-of-year examinations and begin learning Spanish. These classes are taught by a language specialist from the College. Additional information about our Primary School can be found on the Years 1 to 6 page.
