ACG Parnell College - Primary School
From an early age our children are encouraged to develop a commitment to and love of learning. We believe that the best primary education a child can receive is focused on developing a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Literacy and Numeracy.
ensures a thorough and balanced education. As part of our focus on Language, Spanish is taught by a specialist teacher commencing at Year 5.
A School day at ACG Parnell
Our day is divided into five teaching periods interspersed with two break periods during which children eat, drink, socialise and play in either our large indoor playground/recreation area or on the Auckland Domain. All break times are fully supervised. Transition times (Arrival 8.30 to 9.00am and Pick Up 2.45 to 3.15pm) provide an ideal time for parents and our teaching staff to share about the progress and development of the children. Click here for an example of a Year 6 student timetable. Homework is given from Year 1 and is designed to extend classroom learning via practice and application of skills.
