ACG Strathallan students are encouraged to produce work that is innovative and imaginative. A number of students have gone on to achieve further success in the art and design field. One former student is currently employed by the world-leading Weta Workshops on a part- time basis while she pursues her university studies. An ACG Strathallan 2008 graduate is currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design at the London School of Fashion.

The encouragement of innovative design is evident in the diverse range of ACG Strathallan entries for Design and Technology coursework, which has included a bass guitar made from mahogany, an airport terminal, an evening gown, a motorbike, jewellery and a golf course.

ACG Strathallan teaching staff bring out the best in each student through catering to their individual needs and being supportive and encouraging of their ideas.

In 2009, AS and A2 (Year 12 and 13) Art and Design students went on an educational tour to Europe taking in iconic architectural buildings in London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai and Sydney in order to further their understanding of design concepts and processes. 

In 2011 another group of Year 13 and 13 students travelled to Dubai, London, Paris, this time with a focus on Art, Design and Literature.
