The encouragement of innovative design is evident in the diverse range of ACG Strathallan entries for Design and Technology coursework, which has included a bass guitar made from mahogany, an airport terminal, an evening gown, a motorbike, jewellery and a golf course.

ACG Strathallan teaching staff bring out the best in each student through catering to their individual needs and being supportive and encouraging of their ideas.

In 2009, AS and A2 (Year 12 and 13) Art and Design students went on an educational tour to Europe taking in iconic architectural buildings in London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai and Sydney in order to further their understanding of design concepts and processes.

In 2011 and 2013 students again had the opportunity to travel abroad, this time to Dubai, London, Paris and New York, with a focus on Art, Design and Literature.
