Strath Orienteering

ACG Strathallan is one of six schools who compete in the Franklin Orienteering Sprint Series. Each school takes turns hosting the orienteering event on their school campus and this week was ACG Strathallan’s turn to host.

Gillette Cup

The ACG Strathallan cricket team made up of Arashdeep Pabla (captain), Sean Cochrane (vice-captain), Caleb Pahina, Nitesh Patel, Amanpreet Bains, Rajneet Singh, Digvijay Singh, Yavun Khar, Viraj Patel, Jacob Sahota, Jason Mahey, and Bryant Booth took part in the Gillette Cup semi-final against Waiuku College.

A New Zealand Development Squad Hockey player has come on board as a fulltime coach to develop our booming Hockey programme.

Recently our ACG Strathallan rowers competed in the annual Head of Harbour regatta at Lake Pupuke, Takapuna.

Strath EquestrianThe ACG Strathallan Equestrian team had a very successful day at the Auckland Secondary Schools Eventing Champs held at Clevedon show grounds.

Strath Cambridge
ACG Strathallan’s top performing students gathered at Eden Park last week with their parents and teachers to celebrate their outstanding results in their CIE examinations.

Athletics Angus
15th February 2017, what a day to remember! Four houses stepped up to the challenge of facing one another for the ultimate prize ever- bragging rights and of course winning the much-needed house points! Who was to win? McLaren? Angus? Wilkins? Or was it to be three years in a row for Batten?

Swim Sports
Our college swimming sports took place last week with some very close competition. It was great to see all of the keen junior students partaking and the senior students having a laugh arriving with all their pool toys which were clearly needed for some of the races.
