On their days off they made use of the sunny weather, and spent their time on shopping trips, a trip to Dream World, a dance party, and they performed a dance to the rest of the teams at a cultural dance show.
At the end of their stay the team returned to New Zealand a closer, stronger and more skilful netball side. The trip was an experience that will be remembered fondly, and an experience that helped to further each team member in their individual game.
With a few more weeks remaining in the netball season, the team now look forward to attending an Auckland schools' tournament, and they aim to finish the rest of their season at the Papakura Netball Centre on a high note.

Team members were: Grace Jolly, Emma Hurley, Michaela Egbers, Abby Saddleton, Natalia Quinn, Olivia Sutton, Katrina Butler-Gallie, Sophie Gill, Kate Hurst & Tarryn Burdett.

In the recent July holidays the top Strathallan Netball team travelled to Brisbane, Australia. They joined Hockey, Rugby, Football and Netball teams from across Australia and New Zealand to compete in the annual Southern Skies Youth Tournament.
