FAQ's
If you:
| are unable to come to school |
make sure you phone the Sunderland Attendance line by 8.30 am each day you are absent |
| are late to school |
sign appropriate late book at reception and get a "Late Card" |
| are ill whilst at school |
let teacher know and report to reception |
| lose something |
check Lost Property before reporting to reception |
| want to use the telephone |
ask at the reception before using phone in the foyer |
| have been absent from school |
bring a note signed by a parent (note in homework diary is sufficient) |
| have an appointment during school time |
bring permission letter addressed to Mr Villars well in advance. Sign the exit book at reception when you leave and return to school |
| have an accident |
report to your teacher or the teacher on duty immediately |
| have changed your address or phone number |
obtain form from reception for your parents/guardian to fill in and return to School |
| want to talk to a Senior Staff member |
ask for them at the reception |
| want to buy a bus ticket |

listen to the Morning Bulletin and Assembly notices |
Exeat Passes
- When leaving the school during the day to attend dental, medical or suchlike appointments, the students must sign in and sign out at the Office.
- All applications for leave of absence should be made in writing to the Principal as far in advance of the proposed leave as possible.
- The school does not generally approve of requests for leave of absence that seeks an early departure before statutory or term holidays.
- Parents should note that in internally assessed subjects absences for any reason other than sickness may jeopardise grades.
