ESOL Study and Examination Preperation

Mrs Kaye is the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher for the College students at Sunderland. She works with students in groups of two or three as needed.

This year there is also an International Students form class three mornings a week where College students receive targeted ESOL teaching. ESOL lessons are timetabled in for College students who need support in their English language. Primary aged students who need support with ESOL will be taken by Mr George for small group sessions as needed through the week.

Helpful items for international students include an electronic dictionary to translate from your home language to English and a picture dictionary of English.
