Enrolment Policy
The following is an outline of the enrolment policy for applying for a place at ACG International School Vietnam.
Application FeeThe Application Fee is paid at the time an enrolment application is lodged with the School and is non-refundable.
Acceptance FeeAcceptance Fee is payable within 7 days of the Offer of a Place at the School. It secures the student's enrolment at the School. The Acceptance Fee is non-refundable. The Acceptance Fee is discounted by 50% for the second child from the same family. The Acceptance Fee is waived for the third and subsequent children from the same family.
BondThe Bond is payable within 7 days of the Offer of a Place at the School. The Bond is refunded on a student graduating from the School or on his/her withdrawal; provided at least 6 School weeks written notice has been given to the School. Where a student has any outstanding costs, including any library books that have not been returned, the value of these costs will be deducted prior to any refund being made.
Tuition FeesTuition Fees are payable two weeks prior to the commencement of the School year (1st week of August). Alternatively, Tuition Fees may be paid in advance by two or four installments. Fees paid in four instalments must be paid before the begining of each term. Students will not be able to recommence studies until all fees for the term are paid.
WithdrawalsThe Head of School should be advised in writing of any withdrawal from the School. Advice should be given at the earliest possible time and in any case at least 6 school weeks notice before it is effective. Tuition Fees are payable until the end of the notice period. Where no notice is given, a Fee to the amount of 25% (twenty five percent) of the annual Tuition Fee will be charged, payable to the School in lieu of notice as the cost of good teachers continues.
UniformThe school requires students to wear the School Uniform during the School day and for sports activities. These uniforms can be purchased through the School Shop.
TransportWhere a student uses the transport provided by the School for transport between the School and home, or a designated pick up point, there is an additional Transport Fee payable. Transport Fee is to be paid annually in advance and non-refundable.
English Language Support (ELS)An English proficiency test is required for non-native English speakers. For students requiring additional English Language Support, an ELS Fee is payable. This surcharge funds the considerable additional staffing and resources for this programme.
Payment of FeesFees can be paid by cash, credit card or telegraphic transfer to the School's bank account. Fees may be paid in USD or VND in accordance with foreign currency regulations. Payments in VND will be calculated based on the sell rate for USD quoted by ANZ Bank Vietnam on the day of payment.
