Art focus

The Arts play a prominent role at ACG International School, both as an integral part of the curriculum - from the Kindergarten up through Senior School - as well as through a broad range of clubs and activities that excite students' imaginations and give them numerous opportunities for creative expression.

In Kindergarten and Primary School, the Arts are viewed by the Primary Years Programme as a form of expression that is inherent in all cultures, a powerful means to assist in the development of the whole child and important for interpreting and understanding the world. Our Arts curriculum at this level focuses on Drama, Music and Visual Art.

Music and Art and Design courses are offered in the Middle and Senior School (including Instrumental and Vocal) that enable students to hone their skills and expand their horizons. Performance opportunities abound, including school plays and concerts held at the ACG Auditorium. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of music and drama workshops throughout the academic year.
