Music Focus

ACG International School Vietnam offers a range of music programmes, including Vocal, Instrumental, and Music Appreciation. Music is a key element in the curriculum beginning in our Kindergarten and continuing up through Middle School, as well as a popular feature of our activity offerings.

In the Kindergarten and Primary School, the aim of the music programme is to build a strong foundation for both skill and understanding in the basic elements of music via enjoyable experiences in singing, the playing of instruments (both Western and Non-Western), body percussion, movement, folk dance, and musical games.

The ACG International School Middle School music curriculum provides students with the opportunity to develop an understanding and appreciation of music. Throughout the school year there are many performance opportunities for Middle School students.

Supporting the music programme are our talented and dedicated Music Department staff and facilities including the ACG Auditorium, instrumental practice rooms, rehearsal spaces and a Yamaha Keyboard Laboratory.
