Science Focus

Science is fundamental to understanding and explaining the world that we live in. Science is not just important to people who want to go on to science based careers. By having an understanding of Science, we are better equipped to make informed decisions about the way we live our lives.

ACG International School has purpose built science facilities and experienced Science teachers to guide students’ learning both about scientific knowledge and the scientific process of inquiry. Individual laboratories have been designed to enhance the teaching of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and students are encouraged to learn through experimenting and investigating to reinforce the theory taught in class.

In the Primary and Middle School, students study all aspects of Science and the relationships between the different branches of Science. At senior levels, students are able to study the individual Science subjects of Chemistry and Physics with specialist teachers.
