Acer International Schools’ Assessment

One of the most important questions for parents is always, “How is my child progressing at School?” This is a particularly critical question for families away from home where it is more difficult to know the curriculum and standards. The ACER International Schools’ Assessment  (ISA) has been developed for International Schools to provide this data to its community. The ISA assessments and reports provide descriptive information about what students know and can do.

The results are equated from year to year so they can be used to track changes and improvement over time.

Test Registration and Payment

• Participation in the ISA tests is optional for ACG School families, but is highly recommended by the School. 
• Only students in Years 3, 4, 5, 6 will participate in the tests. 
• Only Mainstream English (not English Language Support) students are able to register for the tests. 
• Registration and payment is required by Friday, 12th November 2011 for students to be enrolled. 
• Enrolments cannot be accepted after that date as all students details are sent to Australia for the tests to be individualised. 
• The cost of the four ACER tests is 848,000 VND per student. This is a package and students must sit all four tests to receive a report. 
• A parent information session (question and answer session) will be held in the ACG Staff Room on Wednesday, 27th October 2011 at 8:00 am. 
• No refunds can be provided after 12th November 2011.
