The ACG Education Foundation

The ACG Education Foundation is a charitable trust which was instituted to provide New Zealand students with the best learning opportunities available while also advancing education in general.

With an emphasis on building brighter futures and encouraging young people to maximise their potential, the ACG Education Foundation focuses on helping deserving students (and prospective students) access some of the top schools in the country through the provision of scholarships and financial support.

Based on academic achievement, financial need, or other criteria determined by the Trustees, the foundation endows scholarships that allow students to further their education – from Early Learning to tertiary study – in ways they may not have otherwise been able to pursue. Additionally, it offers financial assistance for uniforms, books, technology and other learning materials.

With a committed board of trustees who are passionate about education, the foundation introduced its jewel in the crown, the notable ACG Founders’ Scholarship, in 2018. This $75,000 award has opened up a wealth of choice for recipients, not least the chance to study internationally in a top global university.

The ACG Founders’ Scholarship

The ACG Founders’ Scholarship was established in honour of all those who, together with Ms Dawn Jones CNZM OBE and the late Sir John Graham KNZM, contributed to the creation of ACG Schools.

Inaugurated in 2018, this prestigious award, valued at up to $75,000 over three years, highlights exceptional accomplishment across all areas of school life. The scholarship is open to any domestic ACG College student in New Zealand who plans to commence a course of university study the following year.

While strong scholastic performance is a prerequisite, there are many other attributes that are taken into account. For example, qualities like integrity, leadership, boldness of vision and work ethic all play a powerful role, not just in the selection of a recipient but also in their future success.

The ACG Founders’ Scholarship provides a life-changing opportunity for eligible students to live out their dreams. It allows them to explore programmes of study or to attend acclaimed overseas universities that may not have been financially possible without this support.
