Work with us – the process

  3. Shortlisted: We will contact you to book an interview time. If travel is an issue this can be conducted via video conference.
  4. Interview: Come prepared to discuss your past experience and why you’d like to work with ACG Education in this role. You may also need identification documents or to complete a police vetting application. We may ask you to come back, take an ability test or give a presentation – you’ll have ample time to prepare.
  5. Successful candidates: If you are successful, we’ll let you know over the phone or in person, then confirm the offer in writing. The HR team can answer any questions.
  6. Sign: If you agree to the terms of your agreement, sign and return the documents.
  7. Enter your details: Enter your personal details into our HR Information self-service portal.
  8. Induction: Your new manager will be in touch to arrange for your induction.

  • Preschool Manager
    ACG Strathallan

    Located in Karaka, Auckland, ACG Strathallan Preschool offers exceptional early childhood education where children aged three months to five years can grow and develop in our nurturing environment. Our teachers benefit from a highly resourced and modern teaching environment and competitive remuneration.

    We are currently seeking a Preschool Manager for a full time, permanent position. This position would appeal to an individual who is experienced in leadership, management and business administration. The successful applicant should also be registered and qualified in Early Childhood Education. The successful applicant must also be a good team leader/member and have the necessary skills to work successfully with children, parents, staff and the overall ACG Education philosophy.

  • Lecturer – Early Childhood Education

    We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Lecturer with previous experience in Early Childhood Education to deliver the Diploma in Early Childhood Education (level 5) qualification.

    This role will be based at our Manukau Campus commencing January 2018.

  • Head of On Screen Acting Department & Head Tutor
    South Seas

    We are looking for a talented, dynamic and enthusiastic person with extensive tutoring and practical training as well as theatre and screen industry acting experience to be head of our On Screen Acting department. Presently this Department specialises in delivering a one year full time practical training course which leads to a NZQA accredited Diploma in On Screen Acting. The course is run in conjunction with the South Seas Film and Television Production course which provides extensive opportunities for On Screen Acting students to perform dramatic roles in the Short Films made on this course.


    You will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and training and a natural desire to help young people to achieve their goals in the field of On Screen Acting.


    The successful candidate will be responsible for course delivery and schedule, maintaining and providing course delivery planning and teaching as well as co-ordinating the contribution of other industry professionals for tutoring, guest lectures and the provision of speciality training workshops.
