ACG Schools offers help and practical support to all international students from the moment they step off the plane.
When a student arrives in New Zealand, they are greeted by a representative holding a sign with their name on it, ready to take them to where they need to go safely and in comfort.
On their first day, support staff will help them organise banking, insurance, bus tickets and anything else they might need assistance with. If they’re booked into a homestay, the host family will show your child how to get to the campus and help them buy tickets for public transport.
There are orientation days held at all of our schools. During orientation, students receive a tour of the campus, a student handbook with relevant information about all aspects of student life, and meet other students starting at the same time.
At ACG, we understand that personal wellbeing is essential for academic and personal achievement, especially when studying in a new country. That’s why we do everything we can to support and care for our international students while they study with us.
