“Our strong partnerships with Chinese agents protects the integrity of our industry and the best interests of our international students. With four ACG staff based across China, we are proud to be highly engaged with the market.” – Marnie Watson, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
ACG Education hosted two events tying into New Zealand Education Minister Hon Chris Hipkins’ recent ministerial visit to China to affirm China and New Zealand’s Strategic Education Partnership.
An agent workshop in Guangzhou introduced ACG schools, pathways and vocational colleges to Chinese education institute representatives. Guests included Education New Zealand’s CEO Grant McPherson.
The event also highlighted ACG’s existing partnership with AUT University; ACG Pathways is the sole provider of the AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies.
The second, at the NZ Consulate-General, saw ACG present trophies to three international education agents and Hon Chris Hipkins present an academic scholarship to student Hu Kunhong. Hu will travel to New Zealand to study English at The Campbell Institute, before enrolling in Year 11 at ACG Sunderland in Henderson, Auckland in 2019.
ACG Education Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Marnie Watson said China was an important partner for New Zealand education.
“Our strong partnerships with Chinese agents protects the integrity of our industry and the best interests of our international students,” she said. “With four ACG staff based across China, we are proud to be highly engaged with the market.”
