ACG Schools receive 23 Cambridge awards

ACG Schools have received 23 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards following last year’s examinations.

The awards recognise the best-performing learners in New Zealand and around the world.

Our five New Zealand schools received:

  • 1 Top in the World
  • 12 Top in Country
  • 9 High Achievement

On the back of the results, students have received offers to top universities and courses in New Zealand and around the world.

ACG Parnell College student Jessica Wu was awarded Top in the World in Cambridge International A Level English Language and will now study Health Science at the University of Auckland. She thanked the school for its role in her success.

“Everything I have achieved, I owe to the college and its staff. I have had an amazing four years at ACG Parnell College, and I couldn’t have asked for a better peer group, or a better set of teachers to navigate my high school years with.”

Clarence can der Wel, CEO of Schools, said he was proud of all ACG students who had worked so hard and achieved at such a high level.

“The results are testament to their hard work, care and effort – and that of the fantastic teachers in our schools who have helped them to reach their potential.”

More than one million students sit Cambridge examinations in around 10,000 schools around the world, including the United Kingdom, United States, China, India and Singapore, as well as throughout Europe, South America and the Middle East.
