Arm yourself for Armageddon

Yoobee School of Design, Animation College, AMES IT and South Seas Film & Television School are on their way to Armageddon. As New Zealand’s largest pop culture, gaming and entertainment event, our colleges are part of the action!

Taking place this Labour weekend from Friday 19 October to Monday 22 October, our stand is Number 113 and it will be branded Yoobee School of Design, but we will have information from all our colleges. Plus fun things to check out and do to including:

  • 3D Printer – which can print 3D models designed by our students on their programmes;
  • ‘Enter to Win’ competition to win a Wacom 13” Pro!
  • Runner up prizes consisting of a Yoobee Online Short Course, Yoobee student designed hoodie, Yoobee student designed tee.
  • Watch our tutors work on the Cintiq Pro Tablet, and also try it out
  • Get all the study information you need about our creative colleges and our courses
  • Chat to our friendly team.

It will be a huge event, with so much to do, so plan to spend a few hours at least checking out all the really cool things.

    Holly Johnson, a student studying the Diploma in Web and UX Design at Yoobee School of Design, has just spent two weeks participating in the Vodafone Change Accelerator programme. Holly worked at Vodafone Xone in a team with four DevAcademy developers to develop a prototype Web app.
