Yoobee student work showcased in Wellington exhibition

Yoobee School of Design students are exhibiting their work in the Asteron building in Wellington from 12-18 December, highlighting the scope and range of creative talents developing at the creative school.

Displaying student work in a public setting, which has a high volume of foot traffic, is an effective way to acknowledge students’ talents, but also illustrate the range of programmes Yoobee has on offer.  Art boards were created to describe the courses, as well as show student work to raise awareness of what Yoobee can offer people in the creative industries.

A cross-section of work from students studying Game Art & Development, 3D Production, Advanced 3D, Graphics, Web & Graphic Design, Web & UX Design, Screen Production and Creative Digital Design is being exhibited.

Creative and IT Colleges Chief Executive Ana Maria Rivera, said, “We wanted students to feel a sense of pride around their work. For many students they won’t get a chance to showcase their work until the end of their courses.  This was an opportunity to showcase the incredible talent our students are developing, and as a college we are really proud of their work.”
