Young Leaders attend Tauranga City Council

Last week, ACG Tauranga students Flynn Macredie and Odette Miller-Hard attended the Instep Priority 1 Young Leaders’ Forum event at the Tauranga City Council.

Together with around 30 other young leaders from the Bay of Plenty Region, the students joined the three Mayors from the Tauranga City Council, Western bay of Plenty District Council and Bay of Plenty Regional Council in the council chambers for a formal question and answer session.

Through the Instep Young Leaders’ Forum, students have a voice on the future development of the Western Bay of Plenty, develop their leadership skills, build networks with other student leaders and become aware of local opportunities for young people.
