The Victoria University of Wellington Foundation Studies Programme

About the University

The Victoria University of Wellington Foundation Studies Programme is taught exclusively by ACG Education.

This Foundation Studies Programme ensures you will be prepared to study your chosen undergraduate degree at Victoria University. You will be taught the necessary English language, academic knowledge and learning skills needed to excel at your future studies.

Upon completion of the programme, you will be guaranteed a place at Victoria University. This programme is also recognised by all other New Zealand universities.

The programme offers flexibility with 6, 8 and 12-month course options (two, three or four terms), depending on your academic background and proficiency in English.

There are four starting dates per year – in January, April, July and October. Curriculum choices include accounting, economics, marketing, tourism, communications, culture, statistics, calculus, biology, chemistry and physics. Special courses in English for Tertiary Study and New Zealand Culture and Society prepares you for university study in New Zealand.


The ACG Pathways Campus, is located in the Wellington Railway Station building in the heart of Wellington city. The campus is close to Victoria University’s Pipitea campus as well as a wide range of accommodation and public transport options.
