    Our 23 campuses around New Zealand, offer specialist learning and hands-on training in fit-for-purpose facilities. For a career in the creative industries or tech space you can choose between Yoobee School of Design, AMES Institute of IT, Animation College or South Seas Film and Television School. At NZMA you’ll get hospitality, trades, business and services training, or enrol at NZ School of Tourism and ride the wave of New Zealand’s booming tourist industry.

    Fit for industry

    Each of our campuses is designed to reflect the specific industry environments found in the workplace, from training bars, restaurants and commercial kitchens, to on-site retail shops and construction workshops.

    As an example, one campus has 3D graphics suites, green screen rooms and a complete production complex for film and television. Another boasts a Boeing 747 service trainer and a full Boeing 737 aircraft cabin trainer. It’s about taking you right to the heart of your chosen industry.

      Thanks to New Zealand School of Tourism’s world-class aviation training, Etevihe has a job that’s really taking her places. After making the decision to follow her passion in 2015, Etevihe gained a Certificate in Airline, Travel & Tourism, and a Certificate in International Flight Attending.

    • Aaron Ly


      Keen to enhance his skills in post-production and design, Aaron signed up for Yoobee’s Diploma in Web and UX Design, and the Diploma in Screen Production. They were the perfect platform to cultivate his creativity and sharpen his technical skills. He made two short films – one earned him a Yoobee Excellence Award – and gained plenty of work experience through industry-based freelance projects.

      Aaron was in hot demand after graduating, quickly getting snapped up by Park Road Post as a Junior VFX Artist. Now he works on some of the most popular radio stations in the country, in his role as Digital Video Lead for MediaWorks Radio.

      Studying at South Seas Film & Television School enabled Clara to combine her talent for photography with her love of fashion. Clara gained a Diploma in Digital Photography, specialising in fashion photography. Now Clara has a much-coveted role working for fashion brand Glassons. Not only is she their Studio Manager, but she also gets to shoot their campaigns!

      Animation College’s Diploma in Digital Media was the perfect launchpad for passionate 2D animator Chelsey. The innovative training gave her an excellent grounding in character animation and studio practice, plus invaluable industry experience. After graduation Chelsey landed a role on an eight-month project working as an animator for film production company Cinco Cine.

      A Diploma in Cloud Technology from AMES – Institute of IT equipped Gorgoon with the latest knowledge in Cloud-based technology, giving him the expertise and skills he needs to succeed in this rapidly-changing industry.       NZMA’s two-year Diploma in Professional Cookery  taught Anita everything from cookery skills to kitchen management,  and developing her creative flair in culinary arts. Anita showcased her talents at the prestigious NZChefs National Salon, winning the gold medal for her spectacular Live Dessert. Now Anita creates mouth-watering treats as a Pastry Chef.
