Richard brings 30 years’ international admissions experience to his Registrar role and he is responsible for the admission, accommodation and welfare of ACG’s international students in New Zealand.
He commenced teaching in 1976 at Kelston Girls’ High School in Auckland, where he later became Deputy Principal and International Student Manager.
Richard steered ACG Education’s involvement in the NZ Tertiary Education Consortium. Along with other members (including AUT University, University of Waikato, Victoria University and University of Otago) he helped NZTEC secure a large educational delivery contract in the Sultanate of Oman. He also represented Independent Schools of New Zealand in international forums and was previously a trustee on the boards of Epsom Girls’ Grammar School and Education New Zealand Trust. Richard is also a Justice of the Peace
Richard has a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Auckland.
